Takako Fujiki
Worked as an executive secretary for Japanese companies in New York, supported expatriates.
At the same time, introduced Japanese culture to the American public.
As Director of Event Planning of Foreing Policy Association,
I have hosted many notable speakers, including President Clinton and UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
Also facilitated discussions between experts, politicians, business leaders, university professors, and the general public in the United States.
Currently, I introduce Japanese culture to New Yorkers, and New York trends to Japan. I coordinates various events in New York, including exhibitions and receptions.
藤木 高子
父の駐在に伴い渡米。ニューヨーク市立大学卒業する。
日系企業で役員秘書として駐在員のサポート業務に携わる。この他、Japan Society(日本協会)で広報を担当し、日本の伝統文化から現代アートまで、幅広くアメリカ市民に紹介。Foreign Policy Association(外交評議会)ではイベント企画ディレクターとして、ニューヨークのダボス会議として知られる「ワールド・リーダーシップ・フォーラム」を手がけた。
基調講演者にクリントン大統領、アナン国連事務総長、日本銀行総裁がおり、あらゆる分野の専門家、各国の大統領、首相、外務大臣、大手企業CEO、大学名誉教授と米国一般市民との意見交換に貢献。
現在はカルチャーウォッチャーとして、日本の文化をニューヨーク発信、ニューヨークのトレンドを日本に紹介している。ニューヨークでの個展、レセプション等様々なイベントをコーディネートしている。
